final journal

wow.... today is the final day of writing the journal. i can't image how fast the time has passed. it went very fast. i just want to get rid of taking the placement test. it is stressful. i hope i would do well on this time. i think that it will be depressing news if you keep failing the test. even if you work hard.
actually, i dont even want talk about test. it makes me nervese. anyway. i hope everyone do good on test. good luck to all my classmates.

the volcono ash again

One of my church members and my 2nd cousin were planned to go to Spain.They were going to there for ten days vacation. However, today their flight was cancelled because the volcono ash has appered again. therefore, they were not able to go today. i feel so bad for them and other passagers who want to go their destinations.

i missed the game

The LINCC party was different from last semesiter. Last time, there weren't any game and dance. It was given out food. This time, the party was provieded food, dance and the game. These were good so students were able to enjoy.
I went to home after i ate the food because i had stomachace. Therefore i missed the game which might be enjoable.

i am excited

finally, the day is here which i was waiting to come. My brother is coming tonight. i am excited as well as my sister too. now he is going to take care of her. i think that he is more strict with her than me. when he came here last year, he was very serious with her that i hadn't seen him like this before.
Let see how is he going be behave with her?

mother's day

it was very windy day that i feel like to go to the church. Since it was Mother's day, my couins and my parents went the Indian resturant after church. It was very fun because we got the chance to get all united. After the lunch, my dad ordered a large cake for all mothers. We took it in the home and my mom, anuty and one of cousins cut the cake.
I ate the cake too much that i felt that i will throw up but i did not. Actually, everyone forced me to eat. My family always like that they force me to eat even if i tell them that i am full.
anyway... i presented to a shirt and she gave a very big hug and kiss. she told me thank you and l ove you. this made my eyes with tear.

i was shocked

Usually every friday, we have chruch meeting but yesterday, the meeting was cancelled. There was conversation between church members. I was shocked and surprised when i heard that i need to be a sunday school teacher for the first graders. For that moment i was wondering that why did people chooe me ? and they should know that i have barrier in english. I told them i can't do it but they convince to do and i will get extra help from someone to explain to kids if they don't understand anything. Church members also told me that it will help me to speak very well. I will have less fear to speak with someone.
I think that whatever they said it is true but i am not a brave person to stand infront of evryone. let see... how am i going to do tomorrow? i hope i do well

it was hot day

yesterday,it was hot day. I planned to go shopping after chruch. i was tired that i went to sleep when i reached home. When i got up, my head was hurting and i felt like i was spining. again i went to sleep and i got up on this morning. i did not know what happened but i sure that i had headache because it was hot day. therefore, i did not go to shop, and pratice for reading.

not visiting my friend's house

Yesterday one of my friends went back to India. I did not able to see her after she came here 7 months ago. We just had conversation in phone. I feel very sad. She came here for the better treatment for her illness. Still she is not getting better so her family and she went back to india. She gave me her phone number and home address so i would call her. i think that i am going to miss her.

point of view about the story

Finally we finished the story. I like the story because this is first time i was reading about two brothers. The most interesting part is when Lyman wanted to bring Henry back to normal. I was wondering that even though they were step brothers , still they had alot of love for each other. However i don't like ending part which was sad and unexpecting. What do you think about the story?

raining day

Can you believe that today was raining? Whever it is raining outside, i feel like to eat spicy food. Today i was eating chinese food which was very spicy that made me sick now. i wasn't before like that. I used to like rain when i was in India. i used to play in rain with my friends or my brother. i t was fun. I am changed after i came to the usa. now i look ver serious person. anyway....

tomorrow is rainning too. i can't image it because i hate rain. it is going be boring day

today was my friend's wedding

Today was my friend's wedding. He is one of my best friends. He invited my family and me for his wedding. However i could not go because my mom was not feel ing good. She needed my help so i stayed at home. I told my dad to go but he did not want to go since my mom was sick.

My friend's sisters and i planned the program after cermony which was dance. oh man....i miss that. i was praticing for a month with his sisters. Can you believe that i miss it? I glad that his sisters and other did dance without me instead of cancelling the program.

Yesterday afternoon i went to see the show in my sister's school. My sister was peforming in program. She did a very good job. i thought that she will be shy and she will not talk. However, i learned that she is very social person; not like my brother and me.
Also i met her teachers and classmates. when the teachers said good things about my sister, i was really proud and appreciated my sister.

Birthday Party

Yesterday I was very busy. After i went to church, i went to my one of cousins' house. It was suprise birthday party. yeah...of course...she surprised. After she cut the cake, we all played the games, sang the songs, danced, and watched t.v. it was fun. I fall in sleep in cousin's house after i ate alot of food. When i woke up , it was dark and queit. i was wondering how come i'm in the bed and where is everyone? i got up and put the light. it was 1:23am. then i thought that how i'm going to school tomorrow? i was worried about it and called my cousin who was sleeping near by. She wasn't reply me so i went to downstair to drink water. When i opened the freege, i heard sound and someone was coming from the living room. I turned around and saw a unknown face so i scremed so lloud that anut came to the kichen. finallly, i foundout that he is my cousin's friend who came to the party late.
It was embrasing and he was laughing at me. i went to upstair and went to sleep. On the morning, we became friends and he dropped me at house since he need to go to work.

health problem may happen because of volcano ash

Another cloudy and chilly day brings me lazy and sleepy. I don't feel like to do anything but i can i say...i have to. When is sunny day going to come?
I heard that volcano ash can have health issue. When people brethe some of the substances of volcano ash, these can go to lungs and cause respiratory problem. Therefore, the people in European need to wear mask when they go to outside.

Learing PTSD

Watching documantary in the class was scary. When they share about their feeling like, seeing different face, colors, and smelling at night, It is very scary to know how these soliders suffering from this disorder. I feel so sorry for them. One way they go to help the country for the war. After they come back from the war, they bring the stress which effect in their life. It is so sad.

Also, i learn about post Traumatic stress which i haven't heard before. It is interesenting and i want researh about it more when i get time.

exciting news

I am excited to hear my brother is visiting here on next month. Since he is having vacation in India, my parents want to see him. When he came to the United Stattes on last vacation, he looked very different. He lost his weight, lost his hair, handsome, and had hight. Some of the relatives did not recogize him. It was suriped to eveyone.

On this time, let see what surprise is he going to bring??

Staying here for a month is good for me because he will take care of my sister and i will be able to study for exam.

I hate Saturday

The reason i don't like Saturdays is because the time pass very quickly. Since everyone is at home, I have to clean, go out with my parents, my cousin come over to my house, and have big family talk. Doing all these activies goes the time very fast that i don't realize it.

I had plan to study in the library but it didn't work. Only one thing i did was that i went to writing center. It was good. I got a nice profosser who helped me for grammar and organization. Whenever i speak to her, she found the mistake and helped to prounas correctly. She is very helpful and i think that every classmate of mine should go with her. the thing is that she only come in the wrting center on saturdays and sundays.

the stressful day

Today while i was sitting on the bus going to school, my dad called me and said that my sister had fever and throat infection. She also was crying to see me and wanted me to stay with her. Therefore, i needed to get off the bus and went back to the home. After my dad left for work, my made soup for her. When i realized that her temperature did not going down, i took her to the hospital with the permmission of my parents. When my sister and i reached the emergancy room, we saw that there were alot of people waiting to see the doctor. The nurse called us after an hour and 20 minute. It was stressful. Even though the tempeture we nt down by the medicine, her throatache did not go away. i hope that she will get better soon.

helping out my cousin

My cousin brough a new house which is Elemont. Since she starts moving the stuff to new house, i was helping her whole day yesterday. Moving materials to another is vvery difficult job. Its take time to put everthing properly. Since she has three kids, she needs extra help. therefore, my family went to help them out.

a sunny day means moody day

Can you believe that yesterday was sunny day? Because it was sunny, i did a lot of stuff. On the morning i went to jogging for 30 minutes. After my parents left, my sister and i went to shopping mall. i brought some clothes for my sister and me. Then we went to my cousin's house where we ate pizza which is my second favorite food. Also, we wached indian movie that was so funny. After watching movie, my cousin said that he is going to drop us home but it is okay since it was good weather . I cooked indian food after i reached at home. We both went to sleep an hour. While we were sleeping, someone rang the bell. It was my sister's friend and they all wanted to play in the park. Therefore, i got up and i went park with little kids and their parents. My sister and i were so tired that we went to bed when we arrived at home.

finally rain is over

finally, rainning is over. Since on Monday and tuesday were rainning, i did not do anything; just stayed home and babysit my sister. It was so boring that felt to cook something. I cooked Itlain pasta which i learned from food channel. The taste was so good that my parents needed to put in the garbage. haheheh..thank god i made it little bit of pasta. Otherwise i needed to eat all of them. Anywayssssss
Yesterday the weather was fine and it was a good day for me. I went to indian resturant with my friends. i had a great time with them. One thing i realized was that there is no taste for food like indian taste.

What did i do today????

Today was sunny day which I was not expected because i thought that it would be raining. After I went to have lunch with my friends, i went to the library with my sister. I read a short story"The Gift of The Magi" by O. Henry. Eventhough I liked the story, It was interseting to read O. Henry's biography. Since He lived by provety, he had to get out the school and started to work. He also went to the prison because he was stolen money from the bank. While he was in prison, he started to write the stories. Then, the readers began to like him since he wrote intersting ending.

feeling tired

Thank God today is Thrsaday and one more day to start the vacation. In the class, after break, i felt very tired and sleepy that i did not able to concentrate.
Anyway...i really excited to have vacation because i am going meet friends on Saturday and Monday. I'm really happy for Monday because i'm going to see one of my friends who got married just few weeks before. i still can't believe that she got married soon. Whatever it is we will have great conversation. However, i am confusing that what i need to buy for her.????

what do you want to be?

Everyone wants to have a good proffesional in his or her life. Even though it is a small or big job, everyone works diligently to become something. I used to think about becoming a teacher when i grow up. However i changed my mind after i came to the united states. Now, I want to be a nurse because I like to help people and it provides good salary.
In generally, nursing is a good career because wherever you go around the world, you will get the job easily.
